Yatra Char Dham

Yatra Char Dham is a tour of Yamunotri, Gangotri, Kedarnath, and Badrinath, the Four revered shrines in the Uttarakhand Himalayas and the most significant event in life time of every Hindu.

The tradition is to visit the sites in the following order:

* Yamunotri, the source of the Yamuna River and the seat of the goddess Yamuna.
* Gangotri, the source of the Ganges (River Ganga) and seat of the goddess Ganga.
* Kedarnath, where a form of the Hindu god Shiva is venerated as one of the twelve jyotirling (linga of light).
* Badrinath, the seat of the Hindu god Vishnu in his aspect of Badrinarayan.

The Char Dham Yatra for 2025 starts on April 30th with Yamunotri and Gangotri, followed by Kedarnath on May 2nd and Badrinath on May 4th.

We recently travelled to India on a 19 day tour of Rajasthan, Agra, Varanasi and Shimla. I worked with Mukul via email to arrange this holiday for two and throughout the whole process, Mukul showed the utmost professionalism. He was always prompt with responses and information. Mukul booked all our accommodation and internal flights and when one of our flights cancelled virtually last minute, he arranged another booking with no problems and kept us informed all the way.On the ground in India, everything went like clockwork. We were met at each location by a company rep and taken to our hotel, assisted with check in and given information about how things would proceed the next day with our tour. Mukul kept in touch along the way checking and ensuring that all was going well. Thank you Mukul !!All the drivers and guides organised for our tours were very good and showed a good level of professionalism. In particular, we would like to thank our drivers, Makhan (Delhi & Jaipur), Tulsi (Udaipur to Jaisalmer), Vijay & Anel (Shimla) and also our guides, Dave (Delhi), Mango (Jodhpur), Amid (Agra) and our guide in Shimla whose name I regretfully cannot remember, he was the best!!

Excellent!! -- My Husband and I made a trip to India from Toronto this January. After a lot of online research and reaching out to multiple travel companies, we narrowed down on Odin Tours (selected mainly based on the positive online reviews!) and we couldn’t possibly be HAPPIER with our choice! Mukul was super responsive, involved and extremely informative throughout the planning process. We were really unsure on how to plan the trip, and as such had very many questions and concerns. Mukul provided us with very detailed and well thought-out options at different price points which not only allowed us to have a near perfect itinerary and make the most of our time, but also added in experiences we hadn’t considered at all. We had loosely planned on Delhi, Agra, Jaipur, but based on Mukul’s recommendation we added Ranthambore Tiger sanctuary and one night in Bharatpur, both of which were such incredible places to visit!Upon reaching Delhi, Mukul was there to receive us in person and everything was smooth and well organized. The car itself was super clean, comfy and we were welcomed with a cute picnic basket filled with snacks! Our driver Sanjay was great as were all the hotels that had been selected for our stays. Most importantly we really appreciated Mukul’s diligence on checking in with us during the trip to ensure everything was to our liking. We had an absolutely fantastic holiday and will definitely be recommending Mukul and ODIN tours to anyone planning a trip to India.

Family of 8, 4 kids and 4 adults. First trip to north and south India from USA. After the recommendation from several friends booked trip to North and south India. 9 cities in 17 days.Major worry was language barrier, traffic, getting sick.Wanted 5 star hotels with swimming pools, excellent guides and safe drivers.Every one of the requirements was met. Mukul in Delhi and his partner Fen in Kochi, met us at the airport and dropped us at the hotel.They were always available on the phone for any questions.All of us returned home safely without a scratch. Will strongly recommend them without any reservation.

For the third time we use Odin's services for wonderful tours in India. We visited, my wife and I, all of Rajasthan, Central India and recently the south of the country. We were always served by excellent drivers and guides and stayed in great hotels. I had the pleasure of personally meeting Mr. Mukul after numerous exchanges of emails for the construction of the itineraries and he was always flexible in all aspects.
