Starting from Dehradun/Haridwar, the tour proceeds to Uttarkashi, a serene town surrounded by majestic Garhwal peaks. The journey then continues to the revered Gangotri via Harsil Valley, known for its natural beauty and hot springs. A thrilling trek follows, leading from Gangotri to Bhojawasa, offering breathtaking views of towering Himalayan peaks. The highlight of the trip is reaching Gaumukh, the sacred origin of the holy Ganges, where pilgrims experience deep spiritual bliss. The return journey retraces the route through Bhojawasa and Gangotri, culminating in Uttarkashi before concluding in Haridwar/Dehradun. This Yatra is an enriching experience, combining divine energy, natural wonders, and an adventurous trekking expedition.

Itinerary

Day 01: Dehradun/Haridwar – Uttarkashi (200 Kms/06-7 Hrs)

Early morning, embark on a drive to Uttarkashi via Chamba. During the journey, you can enjoy the stunning view of Garhwal peaks. Evening and overnight stay at Uttarkashi

Day 02: Uttarkashi – Gangotri (3048 meters/9998 ft)

Embark on an early morning drive to Gangotri via Harsil Valley, which is known for many sightseeing options like Sat Tal and Wilson Cottage. During the journey, you will visit the hot springs of Gangnani. Upon arrival at Gangotri, you will be transferred to a hotel for overnight stay and dinner.

Day 03: Gangotri – Bhojawasa (3792 meters/ 12440.94 ft)

Dig up in an early morning breakfast and start trekking uphill towards Bhojawasa, along the Bhagirathi River. During the journey, you will across the superb view of the stunning peaks like Hanuman Tibba (17,186 ft/5366m), Bhrigu Parbat (19,217 ft/6000m), Bhagirathi I, II and III (21,958 ft/6856m, 20,857 ft/6512m, and 20,671 ft/6454m respectively). Dinner and overnight stay in tents at Bhojawasa

Day 04: Bhojawasa – Gaumukh (4000 meters/12760 ft) – Bhojawasa (3792 meters/ 12440.94 ft) (5 km trek one side)

Start your day with a beautiful smile and view of Bhagirathi group of peaks. After breakfast, start trekking to Gaumukh, snout of the Gangotri Glacier. Explore Gaumukh and then trek back to Bhojawasa for overnight stay and dinner.

Day 05: Bhojawasa – Gangotri (Trek 4-5 hrs) – Uttarkashi

Post breakfast, start trekking to Gangotri. Upon arrival you will embark on a drive to Uttarkashi for an overnight stay and dinner.

Day 06: Uttarkashi – Haridwar/Dehradun (200 Kms/6-7 hrs)

Start your day with an early morning breakfast and embark on a drive to Haridwar/Dehradun. Arrival you will be dropped to airport/railway station to board your flight/train
